Live Wire is an embodied ritual theatre investigation, grounded in the movement maps of 5Rhythms®, devoted to the shapeshifting nature of physical art, and guided by the vision of Lorca Simons and Gabrielle Roth.

Designed to inspire, refresh, re-set and connect. Our time will include movement, creative excavations, collective truth-telling and beauty-making.

LORCA SIMONS is deeply involved in physical theatre that blends interaction with transformation. She began her journey under Gabrielle Roth’s guidance in the mid-90s, leading to a 19-year collaboration and co-founding 5RT, the experimental theatre arm of the 5Rhythms community. Inspired by Gabrielle’s quest for authenticity,
Lorca founded Live Wire 5Rhythms Theatre, dedicated to interactive and transformative physical theatre. Her work aims to cultivate true “athletes of the heart,” exploring the depths of human spirit through visionary techniques. Lorca is committed to spreading this transformative process. THIERRY FRANCOIS began dancing as a child, starting with ballet and later exploring theater, mime, and clown work to express himself and inspire others. He is a certified Gestalt therapist and discovered 5Rhythms in the early 2000s, integrating bodywork into his practice. Thierry completed 5Rhythms Teacher Training at the Waves level with GabrielleRoth in 2010 and is now training for the Heartbeat level with Jonathan Horan. He also works with men’s groups through the ManKind Project. Thierry’s teaching style is shaped by his diverse experiences, delivered with enthusiasm, creativity, humor, and a deep love of music.
